EverSealed offers the option to book a private and confidential online conversation with an independent integrative psychotherapist and counsellor.
You may talk about your letter, grief, family concerns, anxiety about the future, an important life decision or another personal matter.
This support is completely optional and separate from your EverSealed order.

What is EverSealed?
EverSealed is a physical handwritten letter preservation and future delivery service.
You can choose a Time Capsule Letter for delivery at a known future time, or a Legacy Letter for future delivery after the required verification process has been completed.
EverSealed also offers standalone Writing Kits for customers who simply want premium materials for writing their own letter.
What is the difference between a Time Capsule Letter and a Legacy Letter?
A Time Capsule Letter is delivered according to a selected future period or Custom Future Date.
A Legacy Letter is preserved for future delivery after the sender's passing has been appropriately verified.
Time Capsule Letters do not require verification contacts or an ongoing Legacy subscription.
Legacy Letters require at least one verification contact and operate through an ongoing preservation subscription.
When does the Time Capsule period begin?
For fixed-term Time Capsules, the 1, 3, 5 or 10-year period begins on the date of purchase. Customers should return their sealed letter promptly, as a late return will not extend the scheduled delivery date.
How do I send my sealed letter to EverSealed?
Follow the preparation and return instructions supplied with your order.
For Legacy Letters, your preparation package includes secure outer return packaging and a prepaid return label.
Write the required identifying information on the individual sealed envelope as instructed, place it inside the outer return packaging, attach the supplied label and send it back to EverSealed.
Do I have to pay postage when I first send my Legacy Letters to EverSealed?
No.
A prepaid return label is included with the Legacy preparation package, together with the appropriate outer return packaging.
There is no separate £9.99 return fee for sending your completed Legacy Letters to EverSealed for their initial storage.
Will EverSealed open or read my letter?
No during normal storage and handling.
Your correspondence remains sealed, and EverSealed does not routinely open, read, photograph or copy the contents of stored letters.
Access is limited to authorised operational handling required to administer the service.
How long will EverSealed store my letter?
This depends on the service you choose.
For fixed-term Time Capsules, the selected preservation period begins when your sealed letter has been received and recorded by EverSealed.
For a Custom Future Date Time Capsule, the letter is preserved until the selected future delivery process begins.
Legacy Letters are preserved until the applicable future release condition has occurred and the required verification process has been completed.
How many verification contacts do I need for a Legacy Letter?
You must nominate at least one verification contact and may nominate up to five verification contacts.
Verification contacts are required for Legacy Letters only.
Standard Time Capsule Letters do not require verification contacts.
What does a verification contact do?
A verification contact may help EverSealed confirm relevant information when the future Legacy release process begins.
They may also be contacted where appropriate if recipient or customer information needs to be clarified or updated.
A verification contact does not own your letter, cannot read it, does not automatically receive it and cannot independently authorise its release.
EverSealed must complete the applicable verification process before a Legacy Letter is released.
Can I update the recipient or future delivery address?
Yes.
Because several years may pass before delivery, you should contact EverSealed whenever important recipient or future delivery information changes.
Please provide your EverSealed order or reference number so that the correct stored-letter record can be updated.
What happens if the recipient cannot be found?
EverSealed will make reasonable attempts to obtain valid recipient or delivery information.
For Legacy Letters, nominated verification contacts may also be contacted where appropriate to help obtain updated information.
If a released Legacy Letter still cannot be delivered, it may be retained for up to three months while further reasonable attempts are made to locate the intended recipient.
If no valid recipient or delivery information can be established after that period, the sealed letter may be securely destroyed to protect its confidentiality.
It will not be opened or given to a verification contact simply because the intended recipient cannot be found.
Can I ask for my stored letter back or replace it?
Yes, where permitted under the applicable service terms.
Contact EverSealed Support with your order or reference number.
A £9.99 handling and secure return fee applies when EverSealed retrieves a stored letter from preservation and securely returns it to you.
This fee covers the administration, retrieval, preparation and secure return of the stored item.
If you are replacing a Legacy Letter, your preservation subscription remains active unless you separately request cancellation.
Is the £9.99 fee charged when I first send my letter to EverSealed?
No.
The £9.99 fee relates to the secure return of a letter that is already stored by EverSealed.
It is not the cost of initially sending your completed Legacy Letter to EverSealed.
For Legacy orders, the initial preparation package includes the appropriate return packaging and a prepaid return label.
What happens if my Legacy subscription payment stops?
A missed, failed or stopped payment does not mean that the customer has died and does not cause a Legacy Letter to be released.
EverSealed will first make reasonable attempts to contact the customer regarding the subscription.
Where appropriate, nominated verification contacts may also be contacted to help clarify the status of the service.
A Legacy Letter is released only after the applicable future release condition and verification requirements have been completed.
Can I cancel my Legacy subscription?
Yes.
Please contact EverSealed Support and provide your order or reference number.
Where cancellation requires stored letters to be returned to you, EverSealed will arrange the secure return process.
The standard £9.99 handling and secure return fee applies to the return of stored correspondence.
Is counselling part of the EverSealed service?
Private counselling is completely optional and operates independently from EverSealed's Time Capsule, Legacy Letter, storage, verification and delivery services.
Sessions are provided independently by John Bernath, MSc, MBACP, Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor.
Booking or not booking counselling has no effect on the storage, verification or future delivery of your EverSealed letter.
