Who is your Time Capsule for?

Choose when your letter returns

Select 1, 3, 5 or 10 years, or choose a Custom Date. Fixed periods start on the day you order, even if you send your letter later. For Custom Date, select your intended future delivery date when ordering.

A Time Capsule for your class

From your first year to prom: write your letters at the end of your first school year, with memories, friendships and hopes for the years ahead. Choose a Custom Date for delivery to the school before prom, then open them together at the celebration. Arrange the timing with the school and allow time for delivery.

Write one letter together, or let everyone write their own. Keep the group’s letters together in one larger, sealed envelope.

For school delivery, select School class, enter the school’s details and confirm its permission. Enter your class/group and leaving year so the school can identify you even if your teacher has moved on. Arrange your reunion with the school after the expected delivery. You can open the letters together later; it does not have to be the day they arrive.

Friends, family and a future New Year’s Eve

Who will still keep their resolutions? Who will finally learn to cook? Write one shared letter, or keep everyone’s letter private in its own sealed envelope inside one larger envelope. Select Friends / family group, enter your group name and number of people, then give the recipient details of the person who will receive the whole capsule at one postal address. Choose a Custom Date before your celebration and allow time for delivery. Open it together; each person decides whether to share their letter.

How to send your Time Capsule

1. Place your order. Choose who it is for and complete the relevant delivery details, including a postal address, postcode and an email address or telephone number.
2. Write your letter. Use your own paper and envelope, or buy a Writing Kit separately.
3. Seal and label it. On the sealed envelope, write the recipient’s full name, or the school and class name; for friends or family, add the nominated recipient and group name. Include your EverSealed order number from your confirmation email. The recipient’s address is recorded in your order; it is not needed on this envelope.
4. Put it inside outer postal packaging. Address this to EverSealed below and add your order number. Pay the postage to send it to us and keep proof of posting. Please send it promptly.
5. We keep it safe and sealed. Once received, we register your envelope and store it until the selected future delivery period or date, then arrange dispatch using the latest valid delivery details you have provided.

What is included?

Registration, confidential handling, physical storage and preparation for future dispatch of your original sealed letter or group envelope.

Writing materials, a Writing Kit and postage to send your envelope to us are not included. Time Capsules have no monthly Legacy subscription and require no verification contacts.

Your words stay private

We do not open or read your letters during normal handling. If the delivery address changes, email support@eversealed.co.uk with your order number.
